2022 Lincoln Navigator Overview

Lincoln is widely regarded as a standard by which all other large luxury SUVs are measured, including its European counterparts. There are three core 2022 Lincoln Navigator trim levels available: Standard, Reserve and Black Label. We’ll also cover the Reserve L and Black Label L, which are interesting in that they’re only available through a custom factory order.
Standard Trim
The Standard is the first of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator trim levels available through our location serving Long Beach Cerritos Hawthorne and beyond, and it’s technically a base model, but calling it such doesn’t really do it justice. This is a luxury SUV through and through. The Navigator is powered by a turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 that makes 450 horsepower and 510 pound-feet of torque, and Lincoln pairs this engine with a sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is optional. The vehicle features an adaptive suspension. Notable exterior equipment includes adaptive LED headlamps, 20-inch alloy wheels, power running boards and a hands-free liftgate. The cabin is impressively equipped as well. It has power-adjustable front seats and power-folding second- and third-row seating. The first- and second-row seats are heated and ventilated. You’ll also find a 13.2-inch touch screen, a digital instrumentation cluster and a 14-speaker audio system. Standard driver-assistance technologies include a surround-view camera system, automatic emergency braking, evasive steering assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane-keeping assist and adaptive cruise control.
Reserve Trim
The Reserve may be the most popular of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator trim levels in Long Beach because it adds a lot of popular features at a competitive value. One of the most notable differences is the Reserve has the ActiveGlide system, which pairs the adaptive cruise control with a sophisticated lane-centering system to allow you to drive hands-free on select highways. The cabin is upgraded with a more premium leather upholstery, a panoramic sunroof and 24-way power-adjustable front seating. Teach upgrades include a head-up display, and the exterior gets 22-inch wheels and illuminated running boards. An available Luxury option adds 28-speaker audio and even more front seating adjustment, and the Heavy-Duty Trailer Tow option adds a Class IV hitch, trailer sway control, trailer brake control and more.
Reserve L Trim
The Reserve L is not one of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator trim levels in Long Beach that you’ll generally find on a lot, but you can order it through us direct from the factory. The L designation in the name indicates an extended wheelbase. The Reserve L also adds special 22-inch 12-spoke aluminum wheels along with illuminated power-deployable running boards. There’s also a Reserve L I option that adds special seating to the front row and an illuminated Lincoln star to the grille.
Black Label Trim
The Black Label is the most premium of the 2022 Lincoln Navigator trim levels. It builds off the Reserve by including all most of the options available for it. The trailering package remains an option. It is also the only trim level to include all-wheel drive as standard equipment. It comes with an extended maintenance plan in additional to special valet services and other perks. There are exclusive interior styling enhancements along with color and trim options not available with the other trim levels. The exterior adds special 22-inch wheels, and you have the option of a Special Edition appearance package.
Black Label L Trim
This is the extended wheelbase version of the Black Label. As with the Reserve L, you typically will not find it on lots and will have to special order it. Other than the extended wheelbase, there’s not much difference between it and the standard wheelbase Black Label.
